THE HOUSES:

The Historic Old West End, one of the largest remaining collections of late Victorian and Edwardian homes in the nation, was platted in 1866, by Frank Scott, son of Toledo pioneer Jessup Scott. The new subdivision would become the most prestigious address in the city by the end of the nineteenth century. Many of the homes were designed by Toledo’s leading architects of the 19th and 20th century, including Edward O. Fallis, David L Stine, George S. Mills, and Henry Wachter. These architects built for the leading citizens of the day, including Reynolds, Libbey, Spitzer, and Bartley.

Five beautifully decorated historic homes will be showcased during the 30th Annual Old West End Holiday Home Tours. Don’t miss your chance to explore inside these five hidden treasures of Toledo.
